  • Mission
Lead, support and motivate the Cabrillo community to maximize individual potential.
  • Vision
The vision of Cabrillo High School’s family of students, teachers, staff, parents, and community members is to develop the mind, character, and physical well-being of every student and provide them with the capability and knowledge to become adaptive, productive citizens. Our students will strengthen their ability to communicate, establish a pathway for future growth, and practice positive citizenship by pursuing a rigorous standards-based education.
  • Profile
Cabrillo High School is located in the city of Lompoc. Cabrillo strives to provide a quality education for all its students with a wide range of programs and a talented staff dedicated to the needs of our students. The school serves approximately 1,100 students in grades 9-12. In addition to a strong academic focus, we continue to implement innovative programs including the aquarium, sports medicine, graphic design, ornamental horticulture/viticulture, 3D innovations and more .
  • Safety
Safety is a priority at Cabrillo. The disaster preparedness plan includes steps for ensuring student and staff safety during a disaster and drills are conducted on a regular basis. The plan is updated annually and throughout the school year by school staff and our School Resource Deputy (SRD). All visitors must check in at the school office and wear a visitor’s badge while on school grounds. Administrators, campus supervisors and SRD supervise students to ensure a safe and orderly environment.
  • Parental Involvement
Parents are welcome to attend all school related activities. We have a supportive Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA). Parents who wish to participate in school committees, school activities or become volunteers may contact the administration office. Parents wishing to monitor their student’s academic progress may check grades, attendance, and contact teachers through the Aeries “Parent/Student Portal”. Additional questions can be communicated to the assigned school counselor.
