Lompoc Unified School District’s Measure M is on the ballot this November.
Measure M is a facility bond measure that would provide for:
- Repair deteriorating roofs, plumbing, sewer, heating, ventilation, and electrical systems
- Improve student safety and campus security including fencing, cameras, emergency communications, smoke detectors, and fire alarms
- Remove hazardous materials from older schools
- Provide modern classrooms, labs and career training facilities to prepare students for college and in-demand careers in health sciences, engineering, technology, and skilled trades
- Upgrade older schools to meet current health codes, building safety codes, and provide access for students with disabilities
